Not only does what we see exist, since gases are not visible. Matter can be in a solid, liquid, or gaseous state. We can produce changes in state by changing the temperature. Density is the relationship between weight and volume. Density has been important in experiments, such as when carbon dioxide sank to the bottom of the glass because it is denser than oxygen.
We have learnt how to make a closed electrical circuit because it must be a closed circuit for the experiment to work. We have also learnt that if they are of the same pole, they repel each other, and if they are of different poles, they attract each other. The Earth acts as if it had a magnet running through it, with the south pole of the magnet located near the planet's geographic north. Since opposite poles attract each other, the north pole of a magnetised needle points in that direction.
We performed the experiment Lab 3 , the mystery of the bursting balloons. I was successful on the second day because the weather was sunny .Here are our conclusions: The balloons explode because the rubber they are made of heats up with the energy it absorbs from the light. When it heats up, it stretches, and that makes the balloon break. Each balloon absorbs the light energy that it doesn't reflect. so, the white one reflects all of it, the black one absorbs all of it, and the colored ones absorb all the light except for their own color."
This is our report about the science project we just finished. We had an awesome time doing it! What We Liked Most Doing the experiments: This was definitely the best part of the project. Repeating the project: We would love to do this all over again because it is super interesting. We would definitely repeat it next year! What We Learned Light energy: We learned that the energy from light can actually make balloons explode! Sunlight secrets: We discovered that sunlight has ultraviolet rays and they cause effects on our bodies.
